About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports Abbott's Medical Device division. This role is an onsite position based in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with management to define roles and required qualifications.
  • Crafts and executes strategies to attract top talent and effectively communicates the company’s value proposition.
  • Utilizes various sourcing channels, including digital platforms and community networks, to find candidates.
  • Evaluates candidates for role suitability and cultural fit based on comprehensive criteria.
  • Manages the interview process, collaborates with the team for assessments, and ensures candidates fulfill role prerequisites.
  • Formulates and negotiates attractive job offers.
  • Fosters strong relationships with all stakeholders and delivers exceptional service.
  • Keeps management updated throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Innovates sourcing and evaluation methods to build a diverse candidate pool.
  • Safeguards accurate record-keeping within the applicant tracking system.
  • Oversees relationships with external partners for specialized recruitment needs.
  • Aims to enhance recruitment metrics and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Represents the company at recruitment events.
  • Supports company and regulatory standards, including QMS and EMS compliance.
  • Engages in effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
  • Analyzes HR data to inform decision-making and recruitment strategies.
  • Undertakes recruitment projects and additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum professional experience: 2+ years agency or in-house TA experience
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience of filling entry level to mid-level roles
  • Proven track record of delivering significant candidate pools in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Expertise in creating targeted job postings and leveraging social networks to attract and develop candidates up to the point of offer acceptance

Qualifications

  • Functional experience: Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or in adjacent industries and across main functions : commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate function
  • Strong technical aptitude, data analysis and storytelling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
