About the Opportunity

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Bilingual - English/Spanish) will step into a highly critical, high-impact recruitment role designed to serve as the primary engine for attracting frontline talent across the organization's rapidly expanding southern operating footprint. This position is responsible for partnering deeply with regional operational managers and corporate HR leaders to build strong, resilient field teams by translating complex field requirements into successful hiring strategies. Operating in a flexible hybrid framework, the role blends professional remote execution with targeted, periodic in-person visits to local branches and active field job sites to maximize relationship building, local market penetration, and overall recruiting effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Take complete operational ownership over a high-volume portfolio of 20 to 30 active requisitions, comfortably scaling capacity to manage increased pipeline volume during peak seasonal hiring periods
  • Collaborate dynamically with Operations Managers and field Supervisors to conduct structural intake meetings, aligning on precise hiring needs, technical skill sets, and localized success criteria
  • Build deep, consultative relationships with Regional HR Business Partners to seamlessly align ongoing recruitment activity with macro workforce planning and long-term corporate talent strategies
  • Assist with specialized hiring escalations, background check adjudications, and formal employment-related reviews
  • Orchestrate the end-to-end candidate lifecycle—including comprehensive resume screening, initial phone interviews, cross-functional interview coordination, and guiding candidates transparently through final offer stages
  • Fluently conduct comprehensive technical and behavioral interviews in both English and Spanish to accurately assess candidate capability and alignment
  • Develop diverse, robust candidate pipelines utilizing multi-channel sourcing strategies, including targeted digital advertising, employee referral networks, community outreach, and proactive direct sourcing
  • Aggressively source passive talent pools and continuously pioneer creative, non-traditional talent identification methods tailored for skilled trades
  • Provide data-driven market insights, geographic compensation analyses, and strategic hiring recommendations to operational leadership teams
  • Maintain a highly professional, transparent, and engaging candidate experience from initial outreach to day-one onboarding
  • Maintain meticulous, compliant, and real-time records within the corporate Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Travel periodically within the assigned southern region to strengthen onsite branch relationships, engage with field crews, and deeply understand local labor market dynamics

Requirements

  • Absolute bilingual verbal and written proficiency in both English and Spanish is required
  • Proven professional experience managing a high volume of concurrent requisitions, with a distinct track record of recruiting for safety-sensitive field positions, heavy machinery operators, or skilled labor trades
  • Demonstrated ability to build highly collaborative, consultative partnerships with decentralized operational managers and corporate HR leadership
  • Advanced proficiency in modern candidate sourcing methodologies, passive talent extraction, behavioral screening, and structured interviewing
  • Flexibility and comfort traveling to conduct periodic, hands-on visits to industrial branches, regional offices, and active outdoor field job sites
  • High proficiency navigating modern enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems (prior hands-on experience utilizing the Paylocity ecosystem is considered a distinct professional advantage)

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The target baseline compensation framework is $25.00 to $38.00 USD per hour. Final hourly wage placement within this competitive tier is calibrated dynamically based upon the candidate's core recruitment tenure, bilingual depth, geographic location, technical qualifications, and formal education.
