About the role
We're looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused Talent Specialist to support recruitment across our growing US business. This is a great opportunity for someone with around 3–4 years’ recruitment or talent acquisition experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, high-growth agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple US roles, from sourcing and initial screening through to offer
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build targeted recruitment strategies
- Write and post compelling job descriptions across relevant US job boards and platforms
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and other channels
- Conduct initial candidate screening and qualification calls
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the process
- Gather and manage interview feedback, ensuring hiring managers are kept up to date
- Support offer processes and ensure a smooth candidate experience from application to onboarding
Talent Pipelining
- Build proactive talent pipelines across key functions including social, influencer, creative, paid media and account management
- Identify and engage with both active and passive candidates
- Support talent mapping across the US market, particularly for priority and hard-to-fill roles
- Develop an understanding of the US talent landscape across the social, influencer and creative industries
- Stay close to competitor agencies and relevant talent movements to identify potential candidates
Stakeholder & Candidate Management
- Build strong relationships with candidates and act as a trusted point of contact throughout the recruitment process
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide regular recruitment updates
- Support the management of external recruitment agencies where required
- Help strengthen Socially Powerful’s employer brand and reputation within the US talent market
Recruitment Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate candidate records, pipelines and hiring activity within our ATS
- Ensure recruitment processes are organised, efficient and consistently followed
- Support improvements to recruitment processes as the US team continues to scale
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, pipeline health and source of hire
- Support wider global Talent projects and initiatives where required

Pay
$75,000 - $95,000 USD (yearly)
