About the role
As an office-based Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the growth and success of Securitas Technology. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all stakeholders. This role requires a strategic mindset to develop innovative sourcing strategies, build strong relationships with hiring managers, analyze recruitment metrics, and contribute to employer branding initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Dedicated support to teams in the US and Canada for back office, technical, sales, and operations roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source and attract candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Proactively develop pipelines of talent for critical roles.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for alignment with job specifications and company culture.
- Coordinate and manage the interview process, including scheduling, feedback collection, and candidate communication.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system and generate recruitment reports.
- Conduct compensation and benefits analysis, support the offer approval process, and extend offer letters.
- Design candidate experience surveys and analyze feedback.
- Perform background and reference checks.
- Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire).
- Inquire for referrals while tracking and managing referral bonus requests.
- Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g., preparing paperwork, I-9 collection, employee files).
- Support employer branding efforts by promoting the company’s culture and values.
- Support ongoing HR projects and perform other tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Creative thinker, self-starter, and problem solver.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office programs.
- Passion for candidate experience and supporting internal customers.
- Ability to accurately enter employee data into company HRIS system.
- Demonstrated candidate sourcing abilities.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in employer branding and candidate engagement strategies.
- High-volume recruiting experience highly preferred.
- Low voltage and/or technical recruiting experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
- Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Work experience in HR or Talent Acquisition capacity preferred (2+ years).
- Available to work onsite at a Securitas office location.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred.
- Available for occasional business travel as needed.
