About the role

SBS CyberSecurity is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, attract exceptional talent, and deliver a seamless candidate experience. You will partner with leaders across the business to identify, engage, and hire individuals who align with our culture and values, while continuously improving recruiting practices.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process, including preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Attract passive and active talent by building meaningful relationships and creating excitement about SBS.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs and identify top candidates who meet those needs.
  • Develop foundational recruiting processes that are fast, efficient, and positive at all stages.
  • Implement recruiting strategies to meet staffing needs while ensuring compliance with EEO and affirmative action guidelines (e.g., ADA).
  • Act as an ambassador and professional recruiter, building networks in cybersecurity and related fields.
  • Analyze recruiting data to identify trends and recommend improvements to hiring practices.
  • Create job requisitions, knockout questions, and job descriptions that clearly define qualifications and responsibilities.
  • Screen and prepare candidates for interviews, keeping them informed of their application status.
  • Schedule interviews across multiple calendars.
  • Assist in negotiating job offers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of cybersecurity and/or technology-industry recruiting experience, with a proven track record of hiring top-tier talent.
  • Familiarity with Talent Acquisition and recruiting KPIs.
  • Experience with HRIS (PayCom preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter, Hiring Assistant, ZoomInfo, applicant tracking systems, and cutting-edge recruiting tools.
  • Perform candidate searches using databases, networking, job fairs, or employee referrals.
  • Desire to solve problems creatively and document successful talent acquisition processes.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to fill urgent positions with top-qualified candidates.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML in recruiting is preferred.

Pay

Competitive compensation.

Schedule

  • Full-time, hybrid-remote position based in New Sioux Falls, SD (onboarding may take place in Madison, SD).
  • Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Rare instances of after-hours work due to workload or deadlines.
