About the role
In this role, you'll support a broad range of positions across the organization, from high-volume operational and field-based roles to specialized professional and corporate positions. One day you may be hiring heavy equipment operators and foremen; the next, you could be sourcing engineers, project managers, finance professionals, or corporate support staff. This position is onsite and based out of our Westerville Corporate Office.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a diverse range of positions across the organization, including hourly field and operations roles, skilled trades, technical positions, and salaried corporate opportunities.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Proactively source passive and active candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, social media, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Create and maintain job postings within Workday and other recruiting platforms.
- Develop recruiting strategies that improve candidate flow and support both high-volume hiring initiatives and specialized searches.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Serve as a brand ambassador and create a positive candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance.
- Provide hiring managers with detailed candidate evaluations, market insights, and recommendations throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews while maintaining clear communication with candidates and hiring teams.
- Track recruiting activity, maintain accurate candidate records, and manage requisition status updates within Workday.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and hiring leaders to support compensation recommendations, market benchmarking, and offer development.
- Extend employment offers and assist with negotiations when appropriate.
- Continuously evaluate recruiting effectiveness and recommend new sourcing methods, tools, and strategies.
- Assist with special projects and other talent acquisition initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting across multiple job types and skill levels preferred.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies; Workday experience preferred.
