  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency to fill roles.
  • Solid business acumen and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong process adherence (50+ fields require accurate completion).

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably BrassRing) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Willingness to travel locally and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Background

  • Strong preference for candidates from aerospace & defense, manufacturing, technology, IT, or healthcare industries.
  • Staffing industry or technical recruiting experience (especially for engineers or candidates with security clearances).
  • Ability to read and understand technical job descriptions, conduct effective intake calls, and evaluate resumes independently.

Skills & Qualities

  • Technical Recruiting Skills: Understand technical backgrounds and job requirements.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and relationship-building with candidates and peers.
  • Ability to respectfully push back on hiring managers and thrive in a process-heavy environment.
  • High attention to detail and compliance mindset.

Team & Culture

  • Highly collaborative team with a strong support system.
  • Formal 3-week training program (hybrid attendance required; phone screens expected by Week 3).
  • Long-term stability: hundreds of active programs with opportunities to move employees between roles; conversion potential for top performers.

Contract & Business Outlook

  • Initial 6-month contract with intention for a 1-year engagement.
  • Growth dependent on awarded bids and program work; hiring is typically reactive after winning new programs.
  • Company does not pre-hire due to budget constraints.
