About the role

The Talent Acquisition Associate plays a crucial role in Morningstar's recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to interview scheduling and beyond. They are responsible for enhancing the candidate and hiring manager experience, promoting Morningstar as a great workplace, and ensuring that all processes align with documented procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Americas’ Talent Acquisition Specialists to schedule interviews and manage candidate interactions.
  • Assist in implementing interview scheduling automation to scale TA processes.
  • Contribute to improving the candidate and hiring manager experience through feedback collection and analysis.
  • Promote Morningstar through various channels, including campus recruiting and professional organizations.
  • Ensure requisitions adhere to established processes and identify potential errors or inconsistencies.
  • Support the candidate offer, background check, and pre-onboarding processes, maintaining high standards of quality and thoroughness.
  • Handle inquiries from the Talent Acquisition team and candidates, providing timely and effective assistance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in People & Culture (HR) or client service roles.
  • A strong interest in a career in talent acquisition, including sourcing and managing candidates.
  • Ability to learn quickly, act professionally, and take initiative.
  • High level of discretion and honesty regarding sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A passion for understanding Morningstar's business, mission, and values.
