About the role
The Talent Acquisition Partner at QISG plays a key role in building high-performing teams that drive critical infrastructure projects across the country and support the civil engineering group. This role involves partnering closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top engineering talent while shaping a best-in-class candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Affords and conducts interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process; identifies and recommends salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Captures and analyzes data to maintain current statistics for recruiting practices such as time to fill for positions, sources of successful candidates, etc.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions, as needed
- Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
- 3+ years’ experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
- Ideal candidate has recruiting/sourcing experience from an civil engineering company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
