About the role
This Recruiter role supports Labcorp’s corporate functions by delivering high-impact talent acquisition solutions across a diverse range of positions. The role combines high-volume recruiting execution with strategic sourcing and stakeholder partnership, enabling the organization to attract and retain top talent while maintaining operational excellence in hiring practices.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruiting process in the identification and assessment of internal and external talent using creative and proactive methods for approximately 50-70 requisitions at any given time
- Develop a strong understanding of the Labcorp business, competitive landscape, and overall strategy to increase business partnership & recruiting effectiveness
- Possess a deep understanding of employment law and legal compliance issues related to the interview and selection process
- Maintain a strong external network to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent for current and future hiring needs
- Meet and achieve weekly and monthly recruiting metrics on a consistent basis
- Recruit in adherence with OFCCP regulations and procedures to ensure compliance
- Provide relevant updates to the Talent Acquisition Manager during weekly meetings and as needed
- Log all notes and actions in the Applicant Tracking System in a timely and accurate manner
- Avoid any urgent matters to the proper party; Talent Acquisition Manager, hiring managers, other HR functions
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Coordinator with any onboarding related manners when necessary
- Provide ad hoc reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and/or hiring managers based on request
- Perform other administrative duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 5 or more years of full life-cycle recruitment experience within the healthcare industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 months or more experience in laboratory diagnostics or hospital recruitment
- 6 months or more in experience recruiting technical positions in a clinical laboratory setting
Additional Job Standards
- Prior utilization of productivity tools to manage recruitment desk (Microsoft Office, OneNote etc.)
- Experience using creative sourcing techniques, with the ability to build and maintain a network of top-tier talent
- Proven ability to deliver against the following metrics: time-to-fill, retention, number of positions filled, and diversity of candidate slates
- Thorough understanding of employment law and legal compliance issues related to the interview and selection process
- Prior experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Workday experience
- Experience working within a matrix organization
- Experience following OCFFP regulations
Pay
$70,000 - $85,000
Schedule
Full-time position with standard business hours; flexibility required to meet recruiting demands and deadlines
