About the role
The Talent Acquisition Lead on the US recruiting team will build and scale teams at Mistral from the ground up. This role involves partnering with technology and business leaders to understand hiring needs, owning end-to-end recruitment, guiding candidates through the hiring process, developing and refining recruiting processes, using data to diagnose process issues, delivering a high-quality candidate experience, collaborating with others to raise hiring standards, and contributing to the definition and evolution of the talent acquisition approach in the US.
Responsibilities
- Partner with technology and business leaders to understand hiring needs and identify the right talent
- Own end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates
- Guide candidates through the hiring process, providing clear communication and insights into our culture
- Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency
- Use data to diagnose process issues and propose solutions
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience in a competitive talent market
- Collaborate with others to continuously raise the bar for our hiring standards
- Contribute directly to defining and evolving our talent acquisition approach in the US
Requirements
- At least 6 years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth company
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire for complex roles, both technical and business
- Experience working across multiple locations or markets
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic and hands-on work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities
- Professional experience with recruiting tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, or Modernloop
- Track record of hiring for both business and tech roles
