Job Summary
The Regional Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for designing, building, and deploying a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy, ensuring the organization attracts, assesses, and selects best-in-class talent through scalable, cost-effective recruitment methods.
This role operates within a complex, high volume manufacturing environment, building and leading a strong talent acquisition organization, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across hiring practices. The Director partners closely with business leaders to strengthen talent pipelines, enhance hiring quality, and support long-term workforce planning.
The position is based at the company's Saint Petersburg, Florida office.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for regional talent acquisition across USA, including 25+ plants, ensuring hiring strategies align with business priorities and growth plans.
- Develop and execute region-wide talent acquisition strategies that support workforce planning, sourcing, and selection needs across multiple business units.
- Build, lead, and continuously develop a highly performing Regional TA organization, including Recruiters, Sourcers, and TA Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, capability building, and results.
- Partner with Senior Leadership, HR Business Partners, and Operations to deliver timely, high-quality hiring solutions for both new and existing markets.
- Lead recruitment efforts across complex, high volume manufacturing environments, supporting roles across plant and site leadership, supply chain, quality, engineering, corporate, and shared services functions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional business and HR leaders by providing insight into market trends, talent availability, and hiring best practices.
- Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability of regional recruiting models and processes.
- Own regional recruitment budgeting and forecasting, ensuring financial discipline, cost optimization, and strong return on investment.
- Create and execute scalable hiring models to support site expansions, new site launches, and periods of accelerated growth.
- Lead campus and early career hiring strategies across the region and represent the organization at community, university, and industry events.
- Design and implement strategies to reduce reliance on external recruitment vendors, lowering overall hiring costs while maintaining quality.
- When required, establish and manage external vendor partnerships, including search firms, staffing agencies, and RPO providers.
- Track, analyze, and report talent acquisition metrics and performance indicators, using data to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder influence, change leadership, and agility in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and security requirements.
Job Qualifications
- Experience to include in-depth knowledge and awareness of staffing strategies, experience building and executing strategic plans, internal and external provider management, and building high-performance talent acquisition teams.
- Experience in staffing and recruiting management across a geographically dispersed manufacturing company, with knowledge of United States of America labor markets, employment laws, and talent market insights.
- Experience in managing high-volume staffing ramps, tracking progress, and reporting results to Senior Leadership teams in the US.
- Experience in using and optimizing an applicant tracking system/ATS, workforce planning tools, and talent analytics.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and e-mail skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required, master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years Talent Acquisition experience, with a minimum of 5 years’ management experience.
