About the role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition function/team and helps deliver an excellent candidate and new hire experience. This role manages day-to-day people operations tasks, including talent acquisition, onboarding, ATS data accuracy, employee communications, compliance tracking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle onboarding for new hires: prepare offer materials, run background checks, complete new-hire paperwork, set up equipment access, and facilitate orientation.
  • Prepare standard TA reports and dashboards (turnover, headcount, new hires, diversity metrics) and support ad-hoc analyses.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Talent Acquisitions; escalate complex issues to Talent Acquisition Leader.
  • Support recruiting operations: post jobs, screen basic applications, schedule interviews, maintain applicant tracking system hygiene, and coordinate candidate communications.
  • Support HR projects (process improvements, system implementations, DEI initiatives) and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or administrative role supporting HR functions.
  • Familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., Workable, Rippling) and strong comfort with Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Solid knowledge of employment-related documentation and basic compliance (I-9, W-4, state reporting).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver tasks on deadline in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in a technology, consulting, or environmental services firm.
  • Exposure to benefits administration and leave management processes.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or working toward certification.
