About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Responsibilities
- Manage project schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Oversee all aspects of project planning, including design coordination, procurement, and construction management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors, to maintain clear and open lines of communication.
- Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution among project team members and external parties.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Qualifications
- Experience working on high-profile, technically challenging projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building standards.
- Understanding of construction contract law and risk management.
- Experience with project documentation and quality control processes.
