Talent Acquisition Coordinator Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a key role in supporting recruiting operations and delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This position serves as the primary point of contact for temporary staffing agencies, coordinates interviews and onsite candidate visits, and assists with recruiting efforts for production and hourly positions at the local facility. The role also supports hiring events, career fairs, and overall talent acquisition initiatives to help attract and hire top talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staffing agencies and temporary labor partners
- Manage and coordinate the temporary employee process, including communication with agencies, candidate tracking, onboarding coordination, and follow-up
- Aid in recruiting for production, manufacturing, and hourly positions for the local facility
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate logistics with hiring managers and HR
- Ensure a professional, organized, and positive applicant experience throughout the interview and hiring process
- Welcome and assist onsite candidates during interviews, tours, and hiring events
- Maintain applicant tracking system records and ensure recruiting data is accurate and up to date
- Support hiring managers with interview coordination, candidate communication, and recruiting process updates
- Aid in planning and execution of career fairs, community outreach events, and recruiting initiatives
- Coordinate recruiting materials, job postings, event registrations, and candidate follow-up for hiring events
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition team members to support recruiting projects and process improvements
- Aid in onboarding coordination and pre-employment requirements as needed
Must Have's
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable interacting with candidates in person and over the phone
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
Nice to Have's
- Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Previous recruiting, HR coordination, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Experience working with staffing agencies or high-volume hiring environments is a plus
- Experience supporting career fairs, hiring events, or community recruiting initiatives preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus depending on location needs
