About the role

Candidate experience is a crucial component of Recruitment at Somatus. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator role provides administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition and HR Teams. This is an opportunity to work with Recruiters to gain an understanding of their staffing needs and bring candidates through their journey. This multi-faceted position also performs routine administrative tasks and may manage small to medium complexity projects in support of recruiting processes. This is a hybrid position with requirements to be onsite in our McLean office headquarters for two to three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Recruiters in all aspects of the recruiting life cycle.
  • Create and maintain an exceptional candidate experience through the following processes:
    • Schedule candidate interviews with Hiring Managers through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and facilitate onsite interviews.
    • Liaison with Executive Assistants for calendar management to support Executive Hiring.
    • Distribute interview schedules, guides, resumes, and any additional materials as required per interview format.
    • Correspond with candidates to confirm and respond to any inquiries.
    • Initiate Onboarding Tasks through the ATS.
    • Maintain data integrity within the ATS to accurately reflect current status and update the candidate’s profile with the most current information.
    • Follow company practices and guidelines for hiring.
    • Coordinate start date adjustments and pre-employment information.
    • Alleviate delays during pre-employment and onboarding.
    • Submit new hire equipment request form (AARF).
    • Initiate the badge ordering process.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance both candidate experience and workflow efficiency.
  • Partner with TA and HR Leadership Team on process improvement opportunities to improve candidate experience and simplify organizational processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years administrative and/or HR administrative experience
  • Experience using HR Software (ATS & HCM) such as iCIMS and Workday strongly desired

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of products

Pay

$30.05 to $34.78 per hour
