As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Full time: Thursday – Monday, 3:45 pm – 12:15 am

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $33/hour depending on site pay (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees).

Responsibilities

• Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• Work indoor and outdoor in a variable environment.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Detain and search.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• High school diploma or GED documentation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
