TACLANE Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide break/fix replacement and removal of all TACLANE devices in the JSP environment upon request for removal, incident, or Local Configuration Request (LCR).
• Manage TACLANE configurations, including but not limited to key loading, interface configurations, and network settings.
• Ensure compliance with NSA/CSS Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) guidelines and TACLANE operational best practices.
• Respond promptly to security incidents involving TACLANE devices, including unauthorized access attempts or suspected breaches.
• Work with security teams to investigate incidents, implement remediation measures, and report findings to appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of TACLANE configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Generate regular reports on TACLANE status, performance metrics, and compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to other team members and end-users on TACLANE operations, best practices, and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 years’ experience
• Training: (One of the following) GEM One Encryptor Manager Operator Training TACLANE Encryptor Training CBT ND-111 COMSEC Accountability & Control NSA COMSEC Course (IAEC-2112) Local COMSEC Management SW (LCMS) Security Refresher Information Assurance (IA) Training
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE Computing Environment Certification: CCNA or higher
• Clearance: Must possess Top Secret/SCI clearance
