About the role

The Tack Welder will ensure tack welds are made strong enough to sustain the stressors affecting them, while ensuring precision and quality in the welding process.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and adhere to documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Perform tack welding operations on metal components according to provided blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect workpieces to verify conformity with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor the welding process to ensure consistent quality and make adjustments to maintain optimal weld integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of welding equipment, tools, and materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is desired.
• On-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Pay

Competitive pay based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.

Schedule

7:00am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
