Responsibilities
- Verifies fill slips, credit slips, and markers pertaining to games in the assigned area.
- Settles disputes arising from guests in the Table Games area, referring them to a manager as needed.
- Interacts with guests and models interactive skills, promoting guest development.
- Remains alert to unusual or questionable activities and reports them to a superior.
- Rates guests and creates Total Reward cards for new and existing patrons.
- Keeps up-to-date with Title 31/BSA/Underage Gaming regulatory requirements.
- Maintains table game inventories and records player win/losses.
- Changes cards/dice, opens and closes games, and intervenes in conflicts between employees and guests.
- Aids in problem resolution and service recovery, if necessary.
- Counsels, guides, and instructs assigned personnel in proper performance of duties.
- Champions Family Style Service Programs and Service Standards.
- Prepares and coordinates the performance reviews of assigned personnel.
- Notifies Shift Manager and Assistant Shift Manager of potential safety issues.
- Maintains key security and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Attends all mandatory meetings and provides leadership and guidance to the team.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- Two to five years casino experience required, preferably in pit operations.
- Knowledge of multi-games is a plus.
- Knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures pertinent to pit operations is preferred.
- Excellent customer relations, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Able to present a well-groomed appearance.
- Able to obtain a VA Lottery License.
Pay
$25.00 - $30.00 an hour
