Job Description Monitor table game activity to ensure game integrity, record player statistics and ensure proper payouts. Responsibilities Supervising: Monitors all games in assigned pit. Maximum number of tables he/she may be responsible for is six (6).Open and close table games in assigned area verifying count as provided by the dealer.Inspect card decks prior to play.Track and record player buy-ins, wins, losses and bet amounts.Monitor bets and payouts and correct as needed.Complete rating cards for players.Initiate and verify fills to tables.Process player requests for credit and extend to guest upon approval.Investigate and resolve guest complaints or concerns in accordance with standard procedures.Provide complimentary items to guests as requested in accordance with policies and procedures. Dealing: Open game at assigned table, count contents, verify count with closing list, inspect cards or dice and sign off with supervisor.Deal Table games and/or Poker games, payout winnings, exchange currency for chips and inform guests of game rules.Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.Ensure protection of game; maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.Close game; sort cards, balance rack, count chips and sign off with the supervisor.Assist guest with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.Must have excellent guest service skills.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or olderProficient in English verbal and writtenHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of casino rules, procedures, and Regulations as related to Poker/Table Games required.One (1) to two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of game and dealing techniques required.Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission, with access to the vessel required.
