T55 Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 FAA - 2nd shift M-F 1400 - 2230

You will play a vital role in assembling, testing, and maintaining T55 engines and related components at our Phoenix, Arizona location. This on-site role reports directly to the Assembly Supervisor and ensures the highest quality and reliability of our products, contributing to the performance and safety of our aerospace customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, disassembly, and testing of T55 engines and components according to technical manuals and specifications
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any discrepancies or issues
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly and testing challenges
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in assembly and mechanical work, preferably with aerospace engines or related mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection processes
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee status) due to U.S. export control laws and regulations
  • Must comply with DOT/FAA pre-employment drug testing and ongoing anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention plan for safety-sensitive positions

Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities
