Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 FAA - 2nd shift M-F (2pm - 10:30pm)

About the role
As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 at Honeywell Aerospace, you will assemble, test, and maintain mechanical components and systems to ensure the highest quality and performance standards. Your hands-on expertise and attention to detail will contribute directly to the production of reliable and efficient products that meet customer requirements. You will report directly to the Assembly Supervisor and impact the overall manufacturing process by ensuring timely and accurate assembly of mechanical parts, supporting production goals, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to detailed instructions and blueprints.
- Perform routine inspections and testing to verify the quality and functionality of assembled products.
- Maintain and troubleshoot assembly tools and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
You must have:
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, assembly techniques, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment used in assembly processes.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
