About the role
The Sr. Compliance Tech. Business Analyst will provide business analysis and related duties for the next generation sanctions screening platform with the primary goal of reducing false positive hits and alerts by 90-95%. The ideal candidate combines deep domain expertise in sanctions screening, name matching concepts, list management, rules, simulations, entity resolution with a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data architecture, and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with program leadership, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) business partners, operations, and globally distributed engineering teams to ensure the next generation platform meets compliance, operational, and technology objectives.
- Demonstrate VP-caliber leadership in strategic analysis, cross-functional influence, executive communication, and the ability to operate with minimal direction while keeping senior management informed of risks and dependencies.
Requirements
- Deep domain expertise in sanctions screening, name matching concepts, list management, rules, simulations, entity resolution with a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data architecture, and regulatory expectations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with financial crime compliance teams and global engineering teams.
- Ability to operate with minimal direction while keeping senior management informed of risks and dependencies.
- VP-caliber leadership skills in strategic analysis, cross-functional influence, executive communication, and managing complex projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, data analytics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with AI/ML concepts, data architecture, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.

Pay
Salary Range $110,000 - $188,750 Annual
