About the role

This is a critical position within CCIBT Platform Management. It supports setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Home Lending Origination applications. This role will provide support to internal and external applications, provide day-to-day support to the business users, monitor systems, perform technical refresh activities, application migration, batch monitoring and BCP activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure
• Moderately complex application upgrades and vulnerability remediation efforts

• Liaise with functional or operational managers to understand their current and future information needs and develop plans and schedules for integrating these needs into existing operations
• Recommend solutions to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability by automating platform activities to lower human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Collaborate and consult with peers, mid-level managers, vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and reliability

Requirements

• 4+ years of systems engineering or technology architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4+ years of application production support experience
• 4+ years of experience providing monitoring tools support for applications built on JAVA and cloud platforms
• 4+ years of experience with automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• 4+ years of experience with application and infrastructure domains, including Web, Application, Database, and Server technologies
• 4+ years of Autosys experience

Desired Skills

• 4+ years of Linux & Windows experience
• 4+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle and No-SQL Database Systems such as Mongo DB
• 3+ years of support experience with Cloud applications likes Microsoft Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Amazon Web Services cloud
• 3 + years of experience implementing, supporting, or developing tools to integrate with Grafana and App Dynamics
• 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, or Windows PowerShell and PL-SQL
• 3+ years of support experience with file transmission services
• 3+ years of Splunk experience
• Awareness / use of AI/ML technology
• Hands on experience supporting enterprise application platforms in the areas of monitoring, scheduling, or observability (e.g., Autosys, Grafana, Splunk, Thousand Eyes, or equivalent)
• Experience in financial services
• Proven ability to triage complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues to closure
• Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: fast paced dynamic customer facing application which require high availability
• Knowledge and understanding of technology support: high volume 24x7 mission critical systems
• Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members
• Knowledge and understanding of PKI and SSL concepts
• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
