Job Summary
The College of Humanities is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to join a high performing team of IT professionals, dedicated to serving the needs of faculty, staff, and students. This position will be servicing the College of Humanities on a broad range of IT support needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify, troubleshoot, resolve and report systems issues.
- Respond to user requests for system support and upgrades.
- Manage security solutions: EDR, antivirus, and data loss prevention systems.
- Perform scheduled software and systems updates.
- Manage and monitor backup systems.
- Provide user support for networking, applications, equipment, printers and other peripherals.
- Provide analysis, design, planning and implementation for a variety of information technology tools and systems.
- Participate in projects to improve user and systems efficiencies.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
- Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels: Systems / Network Administrator, I, II, or III.

Qualifications
- EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
- Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels: Systems / Network Administrator, I, II, or III.
