Essential Functions

  • Support all functions required to support GXP RDT&E IA functions in accordance with DOD Directives 8500.01E and 8500.
  • Support all functions required to support SRDTE functions including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Assurance Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS) against SRDTE workstations.
  • Initiate, monitor and review ACAS vulnerability scans on GXPT (ARCGER) SRDTE assets.
  • Interpret scan results, prioritize findings, and create remediation tickets (e.g., patch, configuration change).
  • Document scan outcomes and provide a weekly summary to M&S lead.
  • Support all functions required to support SSP Red including Network Diagnostics/Troubleshooting, support End User Accounts, and asset inventory.
  • Responsible for all IA compliance actions associated with the RDT&E Laboratories in GXP, working closely with SP27 ISSOs, and project leads for all documentation, reviews, and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of professional experience.
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Fundamental knowledge in the maintenance and management of computer software / hardware and video systems is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.
