Systems Network Administrator I/Service Desk Support

About the role

Join our National Security Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) as a Systems Network Administrator. Our team supports enterprise IT systems and end users, delivering solutions that directly support critical national security missions.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
• Manage and monitor client/server, storage, and network environments
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (escalation) support
• Troubleshoot system issues and apply patches, updates, and configuration changes
• Manage user accounts, password resets, VPN access, and PKI-related tasks
• Configure and maintain Windows, Linux, and UNIX systems
• Support virtualized and storage environments
• Document processes, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures
• Contribute to reports and technical deliverables
• Use ticketing systems and internal tools to track and resolve issues
• Provide hands-on support to users both at headquarters and across the enterprise

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator (or similar role)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (experience can be used in lieu of degree)
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required)
• CompTIA Security+ (current)

Qualifications

• Accepted Certifications (one Required): CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA-IT Infrastructure), MCSA – Desktop (Windows 7 or Windows 8), MCITP – Windows Client (Desktop Support or Desktop Administrator)

Pay

Pay Range: $59,150.00 - $106,925.00

Schedule

On-site support: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
