About the role

HII Uncrewed Systems (HII UxS) is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer for its UUV programs. This position involves synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions, developing and directing test plans, and coordinating integrated testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.
• Captures and coordinates integrated testing activities.
• Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
• Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

Requirements

• 2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in related field; 0 years experience with a Master's degree in related field; or 6 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience developing test cases.
• Experience developing detailed test reports.
• Experience testing in a maritime environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with JIRA, JAMA/DOORS (requirement management system).
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting (micrometer, oscilloscope, etc).
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience writing/editing test scripts.
• Experience performing root cause analysis.
• Experience integrating and testing software and hardware on marine robotics.
• Experience with configuration management in a DoD environment.

Skills

• Ability to climb ladders and tolerate confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
• Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $59,095.00 - $90,000.00. When extending an offer, HII's Mission Technologies division takes a variety of factors into consideration, including the role's function and a candidate's education or training, work experience, and key skills.

Schedule

Full-time/salaried/exempt.
