Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining, operating, and testing end-to-end customer solutions
- Loading software, configuring, integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting solutions at the customer’s site using Oceus Networks products, 3rd-party products, and/or customized packages
- Implementing and maintaining solution security posture including STIG and RMF, as required
- Providing the technical interface to the customer for their specific areas of responsibility
- Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
- Proactively keeping skillsets up to date
- Interacting with managers, project/program managers, vendors and others as required to meet project schedules
- Interfacing with Oceus NetOps personnel to ensure customer issues are handled promptly and accurately
Qualifications and Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Current secret security clearance (at a minimum)
- 2-4 years of engineering experience related to computer technology
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or related field; equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Excellent knowledge of installation and configuration of servers, routers and switches
- STIG, RMF, software security implementation experience
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly
- Strong partnership interaction experience with the ability to manage complex relationships across teams
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver with high quality
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimum supervision
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
Preferred Experience
- Excellent knowledge of wireless technologies and related protocols (LTE, GSM, etc.)
- IP networking experience with Cisco Switch and Routing at the CCNA level
