About the role
The Systems Engineer, Senior role combines technical skills with big picture thinking to support U.S. Air Force (USAF) aircraft. You will lead engineering sustainment projects and processes, shaping the acquisition process. You'll design and develop systems, and evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You'll broaden your skillset in areas like aircraft acquisition, digital engineering, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with aerospace or mechanical engineering
- Experience with the DoD acquisition process
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of FAA Airworthiness
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and identify critical characteristics
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
- Ability to work with and present to senior ranking officials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Systems Engineering
Skills
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- DoD Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
- Engineering Technical Assistance Request (ETAR) processes and procedures, including AFMC guidelines and the use of AF Form 107 and AF Form 202
- Top Secret clearance

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Work primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
