Systems Engineer

About the role

Threat model development, data analytics, threat behavior analysis. Gathering requirements, defining system functionality and developing system requirements. Developing and executing test plans and procedures. Troubleshooting, debugging and identifying solutions for system capabilities. Taking ownership for increasingly difficult tasks, completing them on schedule, documenting results, and leading demonstrations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related technical field
• Proficient in: Linux, Bash scripting, MATLAB
• Algorithm design & development experience
• Physics background and Trajectory analysis
• Proficient in C++ and Python
• U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
• U.S. Citizenship required

Desired skills

• Master’s degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related STEM field
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with an Agile framework or Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
• Experience with engineering tools such as DOORs, Git or Cameo
• Familiarity or interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering solutions
