Responsibilities
- Support for SHIELD Systems Engineering & Integration and the Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) Increment 2 Product Office.
- Contribute to the reliability, performance, and security of advanced air and missile defense systems.
- Development and review of requirements documentation and traceability (CDD, SPS, etc.).
- Review of Model Based Systems Engineering Artifacts, interacting with vendors to verify compliance with requirements and clarify ground rules and assumptions.
- Development and maintenance of system architecture, operational, behavioral, structural, and requirements models using MagicDraw/Cameo and SysML.
- Support Verification Cross-Reference Matrix (VCRM) development and maintenance, including traceability of verification events and methodologies.
- Contribute to Digital Engineering initiatives by implementing and maintaining current Digital Engineering policies, processes, and best practices.
- Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, architecture working groups, and systems engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree in relevant field
- 6 years of systems engineering experience
- General understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and digital engineering practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Desired: Hands-on experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML), experience using MagicDraw/Cameo or similar MBSE modeling tools, experience developing and maintaining requirements traceability
