Systems Engineer
About the role
JANUS Research Group seeks a Systems Engineer to support the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Lead Integration, Test, and Evaluation with 24/7 Operational Support (FLITE+) program at Buckley Space Force Base.
Responsibilities
- Provide system requirements development and decomposition
- Hardware and software design support
- Verification and validation support
- Technical baseline documentation
- Cross functional coordination within integrated product teams
- Horizontal integration of engineering best practices
- Cross coordination with government systems engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's in engineering or related technical discipline and 5 years relevant systems engineering experience
- Experience supporting system requirements and V&V activities
- Familiarity with integrated product team environments
- Ability to operate in a TS/SCI classified environment
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies
- Knowledge of software and hardware design principles
- Experience with verification and validation processes
