Systems and Network Specialist

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Technical Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate on-prem networking configurations to cloud-native equivalents
• Collaborate with engineering teams and government to create PPSM documentation
• Compile network operations and maintenance records
• Develop network-level design documentation for diverse audiences
• Troubleshoot network performance issues in on-prem and cloud environments
• Analyze network traffic for capacity planning solutions
• Monitor and address complex technical issues during outages

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; 8+ years in network ops/support/design
• US Citizen with active ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance (Tier 3 investigation)
• Expertise in TCP/IP protocols and OSI model; packet-level traffic analysis
• Experience in multi-layer network segmentation and perimeter security measures
• Hands-on configuration of BGP, OSPF, IPSec VPN, and load balancing techniques
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Proven ability to manage customer expectations and coordinate with multiple teams

Pay

$107,900 – $195,050 annually
