About the role
This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and develop problem-solving methods by producing complex flow charts, data flow diagrams, and associated documents.
- Advise on computer requirements and limitations to help define automation needs.
- Develop detailed, coding-level flowcharts, action diagrams, pseudocode, and associated documents from high-level flowcharts.
- Collaborate with senior team members to finalize system design and documents, and maintain software component specifications in detailed technical design.
- Provide technical consultation to solve design and reliability problems and maintain system capability.
- Write procedural guidance to be followed by users.
- Maintain files, records, and operational data, and prepare periodic and special reports and other documents pertaining to assignments.
- Participate in the testing of computer programs, revising and refining all necessary documentation as testing is completed.
- Monitor system errors, diagnose, and correct errors.
- Participate in reviewing existing programs to refine them and increase efficiency.
- Develop pseudocode, tables, and narrative descriptions to implement changes.
- Triage production tickets and troubleshoot issues as needed; communicate with the customer as appropriate.
- Develop code and test assigned software and software modifications in a quality manner consistent with company standards and procedures.
- Handle code releases to deploy into System Test, UAT, and Production environments.
- Participate in Tier-1 meetings with customers, actively contributing to problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot issues and follow operational processes and procedures according to established SLAs.
- Create reports for stakeholders to continuously monitor Production environment information, ensuring smoother application performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in systems analysis or a related field.
- 3 years of experience building software components using Java.
- 2 years of experience in operations of transactional processing systems.
- 2 years of experience writing SQL queries.
- 2 years of experience building PL/SQL scripts.
- 2 years of experience with Eclipse IDE.
- 2 years of experience with SVN for source code maintenance.
- 2 years of experience debugging PL/SQL Functions, Procedures, and Packages.
- 2 years of experience with HTML.
- 2 years of experience with AWS.

Pay
Pay Range: USD $105,680.00 - USD $126,090.00 per year. An applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
