Systems Analyst - Intermediate (Application Support)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve application issues for Banyan.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and document findings for future prevention.
  • Support deployment activities, validate releases in test environments, and participate in regression testing.
  • Able to triage and resolve level 1 and level 2 support issues.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into functional requirements, and collaborate with vendors.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendor (Mobile Heartbeat) for escalated issues, enhancements, and product roadmap discussions.
  • Identify recurring issues, propose process improvements, and contribute to automation or optimization initiatives.
  • Validate and maintain end-user instruction, networking diagrams, and support documentation.
  • Create and contribute to project tasks and milestones.
  • Update all project team members and time tracking tools accordingly.
  • Support operations with end user training for GoLives, support documentation, and application education.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and data as set forth per UPMC policy.

Requirements

  • Typically has 2+ years’ experience with modern technology and application support through education or practical experience.
  • Knowledge or Experience with networking standards and troubleshooting (preferred).
  • Knowledge or Experience with mobile devices and/or communication platforms (preferred).
  • Highly driven and self-motivated to meet expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being accurate and reliable.
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of information technology fundamental tools and concepts (SDLC).

Qualifications

  • Act 34 clearance required.

Pay

Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually.

Schedule

Hybrid – 1-2 Days a week on site at UPMC Quantum Hot Metal Street in Pittsburgh, PA. On-Site and Travel required. Job Hours: 40 Hours. Daylight. 7/8AM-3/4PM.
