Systems Analyst Intermediate

About the role

The Systems Analyst Intermediate at the University of Oklahoma is responsible for evaluating, supporting, and improving information technology systems that meet the evolving needs of the university community. This role bridges the gap between business operations and technical teams by identifying system requirements, analyzing processes, resolving complex issues, and recommending technology solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support existing information technology systems to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the university community.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to assess current systems, coordinate testing and implementation, and monitor system performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Work closely with IT professionals and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide technical support.
• Ensure that university technology is reliable, effective, secure, and aligned with institutional goals.
• Support a connected, efficient, and forward-thinking environment across the University of Oklahoma.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 24 months experience as a Systems Analyst or similar experience.
• Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months related experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive Windows Server experience.
