Systems Analyst - Intermediate
Job Summary
Support business teams in monitoring system effectiveness and implementing system changes. Perform system analysis and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new change requests and production incidents. Coordinate with state vendors, interfaces, and partners for system enhancements and issue resolutions. Organize and facilitate design sessions, gather, and detail application or project requirements. Identify business entities, define roles, process flows, and relationships to achieve project objectives. Produce and maintain functional and process requirements documentation. Assist with data requests and perform ad hoc data script validations using SQL. Review notices in live environments to ensure quality of implemented changes. Validate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and automate standard data queries for internal QC checks. Collaborate with the program admin team to collect required data for federal agencies. Conduct data analysis, prepare documentation, and provide demonstrations to federal agencies as needed. Work with operations team to review and resolve case issues; monitor and track incident tickets. Coordinate with tier-II support to handle business case issues and suggest process corrections. Translate policy or business requirements into verifiable, reusable data queries/scripts. Support integration efforts by working with vendors and state agencies to validate files and data. Participate in system design and provide guidance for large health and human service software applications. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Develop solutions, test plans, procedures, and job aids for new business processes. Generate ad hoc reports and visualize data using SQL and tools like Tableau. Ensure compliance with state policy guidelines and business processes for Health and Human Service programs. Prepare and present documentation for application changes to state leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant experience required
