About the role
Support the MDA Chief Engineer in transforming the agency’s approach to engineering by leveraging Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to move away from document-driven processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with capturing and developing new system models to serve as the backbone for future MDA engineering efforts.
- Leverage expertise with a variety of MBSE tools.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to collaborate on models.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems analysis or related field.
- Strong Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
- Ability to excel in a team setting.
- Experience with Interface or Interoperability engineering domains.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Qualifications (Desired)
- Expertise in MBSE tools (SysML, Cameo, MathWorks Simulink, MATLAB, Visio, ModelCenter, etc.).
- Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs.
- Expertise in Command & Control (C2), data transport, Positioning-Navigation-Timing (PNT), or interoperability.
