Systems Analyst 2
About the role
The Human Services team at Public Consulting Group (PCG) helps state and municipal human services and economic development agencies fulfill their commitments to constituents. They focus on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness through the design and implementation of information systems solutions.
Responsibilities
- Defines and prioritizes business needs for agency health and human services enterprise systems
- Reviews and tracks gaps between business processes, technical requirements, government compliance, or user experience for overall system functionality
- Provides insights into project and contractor methods of doing business by reviewing process and product activities for adherence to standards and plans
- Designs information systems solutions to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Facilitates software development lifecycle activities
- Conducts requirements gathering sessions
- Creates artifacts related to project initiatives
- Contributes to work plans and other deliverables
- Promotes collaboration with Quality Assurance (QA) to develop User Acceptance Testing
- Communicates business challenges to stakeholders and assists in developing solutions
- Identifies opportunities for streamlining procedures using IT best practices
- Updates and creates training and learning management system documentation
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with Systems Development Lifecycle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to take initiative to move daily work forward
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Commitment to exceptional client service
- Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of tools used by the client such as Microsoft TFS/MTM, ADO, and Visual Studio
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience: 4+ years’ experience in business planning and software development

PCG provides a range of benefits, including medical and dental care benefits, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave, and more. Salary range: $76,800-$90,000.
