Systems Administrator

Join our team as a Systems Administrator, bridging our information technology capacity with business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing, and deployment tasks for our software product’s features.

Responsibilities

• Control user access and passwords with responsibility for security (15%)
• Develop and execute company-wide plan regarding POS and hotel operating systems, including installation and ongoing administration (45%)
• Develop software tools including operating systems, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools, with a focus on POS and Hotel Management Software Solutions (30%)
• Monitor usage and performance of systems (10%)
• Oversee a small team of junior staff, ensuring effective collaboration and execution of daily activities

Requirements

• Typically 5 years of business experience, emerging as an expert in a specific skill set, business area, or product while remaining focused on daily execution
• Experience with a combination of Windows, Linux, iSeries, EMC, NetApp, WebSphere, Telephony, Network, or VMware
• Familiarity with current computing platforms, POS, and Hotel Software systems
• Ability to complete day-to-day activities independently
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for a large hotel or publicly traded company in a similar role
