Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and cloud services hosted in AWS.
• Manage and maintain IT system infrastructure, services, and processes related to client, server, storage, network devices and mobile devices.
• Perform help desk support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hosts, applications and software integration.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and system planning.
• Troubleshoot and maintain system integrity and network components.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers on escalated issues.
• Support the design of system architectures and associated hardware.
• Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in systems administration or IT operations.
• Experience with Linux, SOLR search, and ElasticSearch, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience with Akamai CDN services and Drupal website hosting platforms (e.g., Acquia) is desired.

Qualifications

Education & Training: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or other related technical discipline.

Work Authorization, Clearance Requirement, & Additional Information

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance. Due to contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to be eligible. No agencies, third parties, or Corp-to-Corp submissions.

Benefits

Salary commensurate with experience.

$110,000 - $140,000
