Responsibilities

  • Maintains system resources, monitors CPU, disk usage, and response times.
  • Performs systems security administration, creates user profiles and accounts.
  • Other duties include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations for purchasing hardware and software, coordinates installations, and provides backup recovery.
  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
  • Makes recommendations for less experienced staff.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance.
  • High School diploma, 9-11 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years; Master's degree, 0-3 years.
  • One of the following DoD 8570/CS-NET-451 certifications is required: Security+, CE, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC.
  • Desired: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, Linux+, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), AWS SysOps Administrator CASP+, CISSP, SCAP/STIG implementation training, ACAS/Nessus experience, ITIL4 Foundation, HDI certifications.

Pay

Target salary range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00.

Schedule

“Normal work hours” constitute on average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
