About the role
The System Engineer- PEO Soldier is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that support military operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions to meet operational needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and interoperability
- Conduct system testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system engineering
- Experience with C++, Python, and Java programming languages
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for solving complex technical problems
