Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Prepare job sites as needed.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment as required to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Submit daily reports detailing equipment status, work progress, and any issues encountered.
- Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment to support project needs and ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- TWIC Card and/or Real ID’s are required.
- PEC certificate holders are preferred.
- A highschool Diploma or GED is required.
- 3+ years of operating heavy equipment experience is required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and skills are preferred.
Preferred
- Must be able to clearly explain steps and provide clear directions.
- Must be able to complete and provide paperwork required for purchase orders, time sheets, etc., and answer questions about the construction processes for field staff and other subcontractors.
- Willingness to embrace the company’s core values.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
- Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.
- Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
- Limited working surfaces.
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
- Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
