About the role

The System Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Penn Highlands Healthcare supports the leadership team in developing new marketing initiatives directed at the successful long-term growth of the system’s hospitals, physician clinics and home care agency.

Responsibilities

• Builds awareness and positive perceptions of the system brand.
• Planning, development and implementation of all organization's marketing strategies, marketing communications, public relations activities, and fund development strategies both external and internal.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Business Development, or combination of education and experience, required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of previous public relations, marketing and/or fund development experience.
• Demonstrated competence in digital communications and social media.
• Able to serve on project teams, work collaboratively, accept assignments and manage projects to successful deliverables.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, oral and written.
• Prominent track record working with entrepreneurial C-level executives.
• Must be an outgoing person with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of various organizations.
