About the role
The System Analyst position at Hawai'i Pacific Health is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, designing, and maintaining the human resources information systems. This role involves collaborating with HR user groups and other divisional departments to assess operational needs and implement solutions. Additionally, the analyst will develop report writing tools, extract data from HR systems, and create system interfaces as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conducting ongoing reviews of operations to identify new needs and software products to meet those needs
- Supporting the operational needs of the division and making alterations to existing programs in accordance with HPH standards for change management
- Developing report writing tools and extracting data from HR systems for routine and ad hoc audits, operational, compliance, and regulatory needs
- Developing interfaces between systems as necessary
- Serving as project manager for HRIS implementations, upgrades, and projects as assigned
- Participating in general HR, payroll, and compensation projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
- Two (2) years of HR experience as an HR Generalist
- Demonstrated experience in the evaluation, analysis, design/modification, use, and maintenance of information systems
- Demonstrated experience conducting needs assessments and developing operational and systems-based solutions
- Extensive experience utilizing a variety of reporting tools to extract data and prepare ad hoc reports that are moderate to difficult in scope
- Demonstrated experience developing and documenting procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) years of HR experience as an HR Generalist
- Project management experience
- Specific HRIS related experience related to Kronos and Infor (previously known as Lawson) Talent Management and Payroll
- Advanced knowledge and mastery of MS Access and Excel
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Experience with AI workflow
