System Adminstrator
This individual will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a mixed Windows, Linux, Azure, and VMware environment while serving as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure and end-user issues. The organization has experienced significant growth over the past five years and is undergoing several strategic technology initiatives, including an enterprise ERP migration to Deltek Costpoint, continued migration of services to Azure, SharePoint improvements, compliance-driven security enhancements, and the buildout of a new facility. The Systems Administrator will support approximately 100+ users and 15+ servers in a highly regulated manufacturing and government contracting environment.
Responsibilities
- Systems administration and infrastructure support
- Cloud technologies and Azure administration
- Security compliance and virtualization management
- Documentation, troubleshooting, and engineering systems support, including Windchill PLM
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues
Requirements
- 5+ years of Systems Administration experience
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments
- Hands-on experience administering Linux systems and managing VMware virtualization platforms
- Proficiency with PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate processes
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and end-user support skills
- Experience supporting organizations within regulated industries such as government contracting, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including NIST 800-171 and CMMC
- U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred
