System Administrator III (Splunk Administrator)

On-siteInformation TechnologyFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually we have "About DLS Engineering" and "Position Overview". The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. So we need to decide which sections to include based on content. We have: - About DLS Engineering (company description) -> could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" is generic; but we have "About DLS Engineering" which is about company. Could map to "About the role"? Might be better to use "About the role" heading and put the company description there. However instruction: "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." So we can use those exact headings if appropriate. We have content for: - About the role: we have Position Overview and description of mission, day in the life. So we can put that under "About the role". - Responsibilities: we have "A Day In The Life" bullet list of duties. So we can put under Responsibilities. - Requirements/Qualifications: we have "When I Read The Below It Sounds Like Me" list of experience and certifications. Also "Active Secret Clearance (required)" etc. So we can put under Requirements or Qualifications. Probably combine. - Skills: maybe not separate; we could embed in Requirements. - Benefits: we have "We offer a competitive salary and a 401k program with company match. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. We offer a generous paid time off package". So we have Benefits and Pay. - Pay: we have "The Pay Range For This Role Is 85,000 - 89,000 USD per year". So we need a Pay section. - Schedule: not mentioned (full-time on-site). Could we infer schedule? Not explicit; we should not create Schedule unless posting actually states them. It says full-time position, on-site. That's schedule info but not explicit hours. Might be considered schedule? The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state full-time, on-site. That's schedule info. Could we include Schedule? It says "full-time position". That's schedule. So we could include Schedule section with "Full-time, on-site". However we need to avoid filler like "not specified". It's specified. So we can include Schedule. But we need to ensure we don't create sections with placeholder text. We'll include only those with real content. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, E-Verify, accommodation contact, etc. Remove those lines. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all details from the posting, but we can reformat into HTML. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll structure:

The Pay Range For This Role Is 85,000 - 89,000 USD per year (Montgomery, AL)

Schedule

We need to ensure we include all substantive info: company description, position overview, mission, day in the life duties, requirements (experience, certifications, clearance), benefits, pay, schedule. We must not repeat job title as heading. We haven't. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers; none present. We must not include application instructions, accommodation contact, EEO, etc. Remove those lines. Let's extract substantive content: From text: About DLS Engineering DLS is an engineering firm with 30 years of Federal Government contracting experience. Must be able pass a government background check, which will be completed before employment. The Pay Range For This Role Is 85,000 - 89,000 USD per year (Montgomery, AL) We need to remove boilerplate: accommodation contact, E-Verify, EEO, discrimination contact, background check? The background check is substantive? It says "Must be able pass a government background check, which will be completed before employment." That is a requirement. Should we keep? It's a requirement. It's not boilerplate? It's a condition. Probably keep as requirement. But the instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." The background check is not exactly boilerplate; it's a condition. Might keep. But we also have "If accommodation is needed..." that's application instruction; remove. EEO lines: remove. E-Verify: maybe considered boilerplate? It's a statement about company; could be considered legal boilerplate. Safer to remove. We'll keep: company description, position overview, mission, day in the life, requirements (experience, certifications, clearance, background check), benefits, pay, schedule. Now we need to format. About the role: combine company description and position overview. Let's craft paragraph: DLS is an engineering firm with 30 years of Federal Government contracting experience. Our small business efficiencies coupled with a commitment to excellence allow us to provide reliable solutions with integrity for our nation's most critical defense and national security priorities. DLS Engineering is seeking a System Administrator III (Splunk Admin) professional for a full-time position in support of the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. In the execution of its mission, the 26 NOS maintains network infrastructure, to include routers, switches, proxies, firewalls, servers, workstations, printers, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and test labs, to provide maneuverability and defense of both classified and unclassified networks. That's fine. Responsibilities: list each duty from "A Day In The Life". We'll split sentences into list items. - Design, deploy, configure, and manage Splunk clustered infrastructure on RHEL, including Splunk indexers, search heads, forwarders, and deployment servers. - Administering Splunk Apps to include developing new or extending existing Apps to perform specialized functionality. - Develop and implement strategies for efficient data ingestion, parsing, and indexing, ensuring availability and optimal performance of Splunk data repositories. - Consulting with teams to customize searches, reports, dashboards and configure Splunk to meet their requirements. - Create and maintain documentation detailing architecture components, configurations, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides, and checklists. - Implement and maintain security controls, and data protection measures in line with best practices and DISA STIG requirements. Pay: paragraph: The Pay Range For This Role Is 85,000 - 89,000 USD per year (Montgomery, AL). Schedule: paragraph: Full-time, on-site position at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama.
